Abstract
Radiation doses form occupational exposure and analysis on hematological value were estimated 537 radiological workers (Radiologist, Radiotechnologist, Nurse, Assistant, etc.)on the basis of 217 organizations (Health center 202 places, City hospital. 3 places, National (University) hospital 12 places) during 1989.
Most of popular radiological workers were conducted by Film badge, Pocket dosimeter and Thermoluminescent dosimeter (TL-badge) for personal monitoring.
Authors conducted the RGD TL¡ªbadge service for personal monitoring and analysis of hematological value to each radiological worker at organization.
The results were summarized as follows :
1. The radiological workers of 20-39 age group were occupied 88.4%(414 workers) among 537 workers.
2. The annual results of radiological examination at 217 organization (surveyed organization) are summarized to 2,542,546 cases during 1989.
3. Mainly X-ray examination in the chest (93.1%)including chest photofluorography.
4. The results of analysis for hematological value were as follows
1) R.B.C. (x~) : 4,635,742.49 ¡¾ 495,375.45 ea./§§
2) W.B.C. (x~) : 6,818.63 ¡¾ 1,650.59 ea./§§
3) Hemoglobin (x~) : 14.19 ¡¾ 1.78 g/dl
4) Neutrophil (x~) : 55.48 ¡¾ 9.8%
5) Eo sinophil (x~) : 2.4 ¡¾ 2.16%
6) Basophil (x~) : 1.23 ¡¾ 0.76%
7) Monocyte (x~) : 3.98 ¡¾ 2.64%
8) Lymphocyte (x~) : 38.18 ¡¾ 10.14%
5. Occupational radiation exposure level for most of radiological workers were under 1.0mSv/year.
